Shift Supervisor / Plant Supervisor – Paper Industry (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- You lead, coordinate, and motivate the employees on your shift, and you also pitch in with the work during ongoing operations.
- You are responsible for the smooth running of production during your shift and keep the production targets in view
- They monitor the quality of our papers and the performance of the equipment, and react to deviationsn
- You identify production disruptions, initiate appropriate measures, and provide support in problem-solving
- You ensure compliance with occupational, quality, and environmental standards
- You document production data and prepare the necessary shift reports
- They ensure effective coordination and a complete handover of information to the next shift
- You work closely with your colleagues as well as the maintenance and quality assurance departments
Your profile:
- A completed technical or industrial vocational qualification, ideally as a paper technologist / papermaker (m/f/d) or in a comparable profession
- Professional experience in industrial production, preferably in the paper or process industry
- Leadership experience, for example as a foreman or team leader
- A good technical understanding and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- Enjoyment in leading and supporting employees, and in achieving goals together
- Sense of responsibility, organizational talent, and strong communication skills
- Willingness to work on a rotating weekly schedule
